Pangbourne Twinning Association French Film Nights present
a new season of films for Autumn /Winter 2017.

Last Sunday of the month.       Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb. 

Our first film will be     AU REVOIR LES ENFANTS     
A film written and directed by Louis Malle.
Set in a rural Catholic boarding school during the Nazi occupation of France, this films tells the story of the friendship between Julien and new boy Jean. Julien becomes burdened by a dangerous secret – that Jean is secretly a Jew who is being concealed from the Germans by the friars who run the school.It was a worldwide box-office success and won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and the Bafta for Best Foreign Language film. It also received two Oscar nominations.

Sunday 29th October  7.30pm.
Pangbourne Village Hall (doors open 7.00pm)
Entry £6 per person.
