AUTUMN AND WINTER FILM NIGHTS

They are back! Forget the end of summer and the inclement weather– our first film of the new season is on Sunday 27th October.
Our first film is The Guardians (‘Les Gardiennes’) which is based in rural France in World War One and considers the plight of the women who are forced to run things when the men are called to the front. It is beautifully shot and features a score by the legendary Michel Legrand.
As usual, doors open at Pangbourne Village Hall at 6.45pm, with the film screened at 7.30pm sharp. Entry is £6 per person, payable on the door.
We will be running our usual pre-film bar with wine, beer and soft drinks.
Details of these will be available on the film night and in subsequent communications, but there is a good mixture of comedy and drama.
