Following the successful start to our latest film season at the end of October, Our next film on Sunday 24th November is a comedy entitled ‘Après Vous’. The film stars French acting legend Daniel Auteuil and is directed by Pierre Salvadori, who directed ‘Beautiful Lies’, so well received when we screened it last January. Doors open at Pangbourne Village Hall at 6.45pm, The film will be screened at 7.30pm.

Antoine, a restaurant head waiter, takes a short cut through a park one evening and rescues Louis, a despondent, lovelorn stranger, from a suicide attempt. It isn’t long before Antoine decides to fix everything that is wrong in Louis’ life, including intercepting his suicide note, finding him a job at his restaurant and attempting to mend the rift between Louis and his former girlfriend, Blanche. But there is an unexpected twist of fate……..
